We are so happy to share that Vivian Hould, a long time client of Abbotsford Animal Hospital, has been awarded the Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship. The Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship recognizes people who have made exceptional long-term contributions to the quality of life in the province.
With the St. John Ambulance York Region Therapy Dog program, which Vivian recently retired as the therapy dog program supervisor, she has assisted thousands of people, including those living with Alzheimer's. To people and dog alike, she has helped bring happiness and joy to so many. Her medals include the Governor General's Caring Canadian Medal and two St. John's Ambulance service medals.
