To Our Valued Customers,
Amid ongoing concerns about COVID-19, we wanted to reach out and explain what we are doing here at Abbotsford Animal Hospital in response to the situation and ensuring our hospital is safe for clients, pets and our employees.
First, safety is our most important priority — and always has been. We want you to be safe and we want our team to be safe. To this effect, we have implemented several enhanced cleaning protocols effective immediately. This includes increasing the frequency of complete facility cleaning and on-going sanitization throughout the day, focusing on all high-use areas such as door handles, POS machines and counter surfaces. We are also practicing social distancing.
Secondly, we have provided in-depth information to all staff about the virus, procedures for detection and self-quarantine, instructions for sanitization and what our expectations are about maintaining a vigilant approach to protocols.
We are fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Working together, we can all help to keep it one of the safest and healthiest.
If you have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days, or if you feel unwell, please stay home and have someone else bring in your pet.
Please refrain from having other family members attend the appointment- 1 adult per patient, please.
We ask that you utilize our Drive Thru- the only Vet Drive Thru available in York Region - for admissions, discharges, medication renewals and food sales to help ensure social distancing.
Just know that Abbotsford Animal Hospital is doing its part and remains fully operational and prepared to continue to serve you. We are open 7 days a week. Drive Thru available.
