Shannon is a Registered Veterinary Technician who joined the Abbotsford team in September 2025 after graduating from the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca Polytechnic. She also completed post-secondary studies in Biology and Psychology at University of Waterloo. During her training, Shannon participated in a volunteer spay and neuter outreach program in Costa Rica, which strengthened her passion for community outreach and improving access to veterinary care. She is deeply passionate about animal health, patient comfort, and client education, and loves helping pet owners feel informed, supported, and confident in their pet’s care. Before entering the veterinary field, she spent several years in the service and hospitality industry, where she developed strong communication skills and a warm, client-focused approach.

Outside of the clinic, Shannon enjoys spending time with animals of all kinds and has a special soft spot for rescue pets. At home, she shares her life with her two rescued cats, Kora and Bean, who keep her endlessly entertained and remind her daily why she loves what she does. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, relaxing with a good book, staying active, and continuing to learn more about animal health and behaviour.
