Sophie joined Abbotsford Animal Hospital in April 2022 as a member of the animal care team. She later began training with the customer care team and has since transitioned into her current role as a Veterinary Technician Assistant. Sophie enjoys building relationships with the wonderful pet parents at Abbotsford and being part of their pets' care journey.

Her love for animals began early and deepened during her studies in Zoology and Psychology at the University of Guelph. She is currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca Polytechnic and is excited to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in the near future.

Outside of work, Sophie enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Lily and Alice, and is always thinking about which pet to add to her family next!
